EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Ukiah Natural Foods accepts applications at all times, though we are not always hiring. The Co-op will keep your application on file for 6 months. You do not need to submit a separate application for each position.

Because of the large number of applications that we receive, we ask that you not call to check on the status of your application. (See box at right for a description of our process.)

• Return the completed form to the Customer Service desk
• When a position is available, the applications will be reviewed and those who appear to be a possible fit (according to experience, skills and/or education) will be called to arrange a phone interview.
• If you haven't been called, you may sign in at Customer Service to let us know you are still interested in employment.
• Those who appear to be a best fit after the phone interview will be called to come in for a second interview with the Human Resources Manager and department manager. Shortly after this second interview (usually within 2 to 3 business days), an employment decision will be made.
• If you are selected, you will be asked to complete an authorization form for a background check. This background check is a requirement of employment and considered part of the application process. We conduct checks for county criminal offenses, state sex offender, SS# address verification, and past employment verification.
