Full Time

Wellness/Health and Beauty Aids Manager (1) –  Your day will consist of overseeing all of the operations of the Wellness HABA department and attaining positive results, supervising a small team (currently a staff of 7), providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Part Time

Barista (2) – Your day will consist of providing excellent customer service, making coffee and smoothie drinks, ingredient prep, and washing equipment and utensils. This position will eventually become part of our merged Deli(Food-To-Go)/Espresso Bar and include all deli responsibilities, hence the linked job description. Current responsibilities may or eventually include setting up/filling/taking down the soup and salad bar, preparing food, labeling/pricing/stocking product, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the soup and salad bar, and washing equipment and utensils. Previous food handling experience is preferred, but not required. We can provide all training and certification. Although currently a salad and soup bar with food-to-go options at this time, we have a planned expansion into a full deli for this rapidly growing department! Approximately 20-28 hours per week, must be available on weekends.  Click here for the full job description.

Produce Clerk (1) – Your day will consist of providing excellent customer service, stocking, ripeness checking, washing and preparing produce, building produce displays, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Grocery Clerk (1) – Your day will consist of providing excellent customer service, stocking product, product rotation, facing product and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. How do I get an application for employment?

  1. You may download an application.
  2. Or, you may pick one up at the Co-op during business hours.  Job applications are located in a literature holder just inside the main doors.

What is your application process?

  • Applications are accepted by our Human Resources department at our annex office, located at 749C South State Street. If the office is closed, you may drop off the application in the white mailbox located by the front door.
  • If you are unable to bring your application in person, you may email it to hrassist@ukiahcoop.com or mail it, Attention: HR Dept. Our address is located at the top of the application.
  • When a position is available, applications are reviewed and those who appear to be a possible fit (according to experience, skills, availability, etc.) are contacted for an interview.
  • To update your application (contact info, availability, etc.), please call or email the human resources department.
  • All applications are kept on file and considered “active” for all positions for three months from the date they are received. If you would like to be considered for an open position and your application is no longer active, please reapply.
