When a position is available, the applications will be reviewed and those who appear to be a possible fit (according to experience, skills, and/or education) will be called to arrange a phone interview. Those who appear to be a best fit after the phone interview will be called to come in for a 2nd interview with the Department Manager and Human Resources. Shortly after this 2nd interview (usually within 2 – 3 business days), an employment decision will be made.
If you are selected for a position, you will be asked to complete an authorization form for a background check which is a requirement of employment and considered part of the application process. We search for county criminal convictions, state sex offender convictions, social security number, address verification, and past employment verification.
Ukiah Natural Foods receives hundreds of applications every year and many more when a position is advertised. We keep applications on file for six months and may refer back as new positions open up.
