There are nine seats on the board and each term lasts three years. Board members contribute their skills and expertise to the financial well-being of the Co-op. Board members also help the Co-op stay dedicated to our mission of making healthy food accessible to everyone. The Board of Directors meets at 5:30 PM on the 3rd Monday of each month and all current Co-op member-owners are welcome to attend these meetings. Prepare for, publicize, recommend recipients for, and administer the various Community Donation Programs funded by Ukiah Natural Foods. These programs include but are not limited to, the following: Nonprofit Donation Program, Community Grant Program, John Milder Scholarship Program, and Give Back to Schools Week.

    About Ukiah Natural Foods Co-op's Farm Loan Project. Up to $10,000 at a 3% flat loan fee to support farms and farmers in Lake and Mendocino counties. FARM LOAN PROJECT FARM LOAN PROJECT The Farm Loan Project is a $50,000 fund allocated by the U.N.F.C. to support local farms and farmers currently practicing or expanding into organic and sustainable farming practices. Qualified applicants can receive loans from $2,500 to $10,000 with only a 3% loan fee and a flexible 2-year payback period. We are so proud and excited to have been able to offer this resource to our community for so many years. We don't just know our farmers; we help them grow. If you run an established farm or are an experienced farmer just starting, please apply. The application period ends September 30th, 2024.
